For the record, I actually do plan on using this blog. The business where “hoarding” urls is now against terms of service - which, yeah, makes sense, but I digress - worried me that, I don’t know, this blog might get taken away? I’m paranoid like that.

Come next year/whenever I buy a tablet, I want to post more personal artwork. Just silly little things&whatevers that I won’t mind that tumblr technically owns. I don’t have the means of properly getting my work now onto the computer, and I feel too proud of what I make so far to ruin it with a crappy picture (my ego likes to visit sometimes, it’s cool).

Yes. That’s all.

We’ll Meet Again - Vera Lynn

I dream of slowdancing to this beautiful, sad, elegant song.

Counting down the days

In ten days I’ll have worked my last shift at the store.

In seventeen days I’ll be moved into my residence out of town.

In nineteen days I will have my first day of class in college.

Looking at it like this, in the actual number of days, I can’t help but start to feel a little overwhelmed and exchited. I haven’t even started packing yet (something I’m going to start tomorrow).

It’s going to be different. It’s going to take a while for me to adjust.

I’m ready for it.

Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas - Brandon Flowers

aka Brandon Flowers writes a love letter to his hometown.

(via blua)

In the span of a month, I feel like I’ve progressed in leaps and bounds as an independent person.

Come September, I’ll be leaving my hometown and going away for school in an entirely new city. I will only know one person, who is the girlfriend of a friend of mine. She’s a wonderful woman, but the fact stands that I’m throwing myself into the wind here.

Yes, I know, when I go to school I will make new friends, and I’ll learn to call the city home for the next one to five years, since I’ll be spending the majority of my months there as opposed to here.

I’ve applied for residence, I’ve booked a campus tour, I’m planning on applying for a student loan shortly. I’m planning on getting a credit card. I’m starting to look at the “dorm” section of department store websites for ideas on how I can make my potential new room organized and individual.

I’m starting to save my money even harder than before, and am planning on asking for a job transfer to another location of the company I work for so I will still have at least a semblance of an income to support myself while I’m away.

Suddenly, with the little notion of clicking “confirm” for my offer of admission, my entire life is changing, and I’m starting to come around to it being a really good thing.

I can’t lie, I would totally do this if I also had 70 feet of hair.

How to feel classy 101

indescribably:

Step 1: Acquire your favorite beverage
Step 2: Make sure your computer sound is on
Step 3: Open the following sites in separate tabs

#1 #2 #3

Step 4: Feel Classy

This post, or similar ones, circulate around a lot, but I always love it. It’s got rainymood.com, one of the best websites around, and it plays a song from Phoenix Wright: Trials and Tribulations, which was my favourite game of the series, especially because it had Godot in it.
